Records the stone foundations of an L-shaped hall and solar undercroft partly exposed by unauthorized digging on a scheduled site. Walls of an earlier building were also noted. Pottery dates occupation to late 12th-14th centuries; the site has no known documentation but lies within earthworks and has a 42m deep well. Manor house? D G
