Abstract:
Reports on recovery by metal detector of the mid fifteenth-century hoard from a development site at the corner of Brokes Road and Pilgrims Way. The historic findspot is considered in terms of the local historic topography. Clive Orton (93--4 & 95) reports on `The pottery containers': two jugs. Detailed discussion of the hoard is forthcoming.
