Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report |
A well preserved sequence of premises of shoemakers and their associated refuse was found off Saddler Street, the occupation dating from later 10th century to 13th. A destructive fire in later 11th century was contemporary with the collapse of the local late Saxon pottery trade. Development of tenement boundaries is traced. Much use is made of graphic and tabular presentation to allow rapid assimilation of the reported material and identification of its associated archival materials. | ||||||
