Abstract:
In addition to the 'Yeavering unit' recently postulated for building measurements at that site, it is suggested that the 'Northern system' was used for much of the time, eg for the two A3 buildings and for A4. P Kidson adds a note that the 'Northern foot' probably equates with the Roman pes Drusianus.
