During the Leadenhall Court excavations, an owl pellet was discovered in the Roman basilica (see also 94/460). The article discusses the possible events which led to the deposit of the cluster of mole and vole bones and demonstrates how careful retrieval of environmental samples has provided further information of the environmental and economic development of Roman London. | |||
