Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report |
A review of the material excavated twenty years ago, concentrating on the most active phase of the site, AD70-120. The recent research addresses the amphorae and quantification of the pottery assemblage. It concludes the organisation of the industry implies that the production was zoned, perhaps a co-operative, and that whilst an important production centre, they experimented with a wider range, not entirely successfully. | ||
