Abstract: Discarding the term 'native' as imprecise, au has used both site-specific and regional off-site fieldwork to study the cropmark sites/ditched enclosures (geophysical and phosphate surveys, and small excavations). Results indicate relatively little Roman impact on the prehistoric agriculture of the Plain, and relatively few RB sites.
