Abstract:		 Survey was done for management purposes of the 2.4ha hexagonal fort, much destroyed and obscured. More details of the interior are needed and the vicus should be identified. Re-use of the site in 8th century (cross), in med times (church, market, castle) and in Border raiding shows its strategic siting.
