Abstract:		 A paper bringing together evidence for stray finds of a sub-Roman or AS date from Cumbria. Numismatic finds, medieval sculpture and excavated material are excluded from the study. The objects are presented in three lists: list A includes objects of certain date; list B objects of uncertain date; and list C two objects which have hitherto featured in the literature, but which should now be discounted.
