Abstract:		 Presents a survey, based on cartographic, documentary, and building survey evidence, of the vernacular architecture at Moorhouse. Farm buildings, houses, wash-houses and coach-houses figure, along with the Friend's Meeting House. Details of particular note include the similarity between farmhouse plans and the extent of clay wall patching. The clay buildings are thought to be of considerable historic interest.
