Abstract: Reports work at Cobbs Wood moated site, Wimpole, between 1984 and 1988 which recorded a double enclosure, no house remains, and some medieval pottery. The site may coincide with that of Wratworth -- a lost medieval settlement. Also surveyed was Overhall Grove moated site at Boxworth, thought to be the site of Overhall Manor. Ridge-and-furrow was only found outside the enclosure and medieval pottery was found in some quantity as a result of disturbance by badgers. Finally, St Etheldreda's church site, Histon, yielded the outline of the church walls and boundary of the churchyard.
