Abstract:		 Report of the excavation and survey, as part of a larger programme of excavation, of the remains of a two-chambered pottery kiln and associated structures. The site appeared to be occupied from the second century AD, but with maximum use in the mid- to late-fourth century. The pottery assemblage included fragments of Horningsea storage jars and grey ware; surface scatters over the area also included large numbers of quern and millstone fragments.
