Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report |
Several areas due to given over to conservation management were surveyed, including Ashcott and Shapwick Heaths. These include the Scheduled Sweet Track and Burtle Batch Mesolithic sites. The cessation of pumping to allow natural flooding has implications for industrial archaeology and for the management of the prehistoric sites. Extensive topographical surveys were complemented by detailed measured surveys in some areas of particular significance. | ||
