Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report |
Following demolition of the north wing of Dragon Hall in 2005, small-scale excavations and a watching brief were undertaken. The work has added further details to the structural sequence which began in the late-tenth century. In particular, the excavations revealed a cellared structure of probable fourteenth-century date and a later sequence of yards and associated features. However no evidence was found for a contemporary north wing to Dragon Hall itself. | ||
