Studies of the deserted medieval village of Godwick and of the area surrounding it, and of the parish of Beeston St Andrew. For Godwick, the author presents a summary of the historical background followed by the results of a fieldwalking survey, which produced mainly Romano-British and medieval material. For Beeston St Andrew, the majority of finds were pre-Iron Age of post-medieval; documentary and cartographic evidence is also described. Includes | |||
