Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report Abstract:	Assessment work was carried out on the complex of Roman military sites near Caerau, Breconshire by the Clwyd-Powys Archaeological Trust between 1990 and 2015 primarily for management and conservation purposes, involving topographical survey, geophysical survey, drone photogrammetry, analysis of lidar imagery, test pit digging and trial excavation. Sites examined included the Caerau Roman fort and its associated annexe and extramural settlement, Beulah marching camp, and practice camps, largely dating to the period c. AD 75–120.
