This article continues the series of reports by David Hall on the landscape history of the Greater Northampton parishes, all then liable to significant development in the near future. The documentary evidence for the manorial history is summarised. There is a map of the ridge and furrow as it survived in 1972 and a reconstruction of the fields as they stood in the late 17th century. Finds spots are also plotted. | ||
