Abstract:		 A fieldwa/king survey at Breechlands Farm , near Hurstpierpoint, has produced evidence for activity dating from the Mesolithic to the present day. In addition to the re-discovered 'Breatch Land', sites dating to the Mesolithic, Bronze Age and Roman periods were identified.
