Abstract:		 Dredging of the stream beside earthworks at Isfield produced pottery, tile and leatherwork. The spoil was sampled and it is suggested that it had accumulated in the ditch around the medieval manor house of Isfield. Finds suggest a date range of 12th to middle 13th century.
