Abstract: In December 2019 Archaeological Solutions (AS) carried out an archaeological excavation of land north of 52 Chapelfield Road, Guyhirn, Cambridgeshire (NGR TF 4005 0419). Prior to excavation, the site was subject to a trial trench evaluation (Browne and Clarke 2019) which recorded several linear features and pits which contained briquetage, the remnants of the clay vessels, tanks, and supports used in saltmaking.
