New evidence has now come to light which suggests that the samples of human and animal remains dated to the Late Pleistocene, the Late Neolithic to the Early Bronze Age/Beaker period, and to the Iron Age, recovered from the central passage of the Parc le Breos Cwm early Neolithic Cotswold-Severn tomb, Gower, during excavations by Richard Atkinson in the 1960s, are now likely to have originated from the nearby Cat Hole Cave and to have been deposited at Parc le Breos Cwm in modern times. |
