Abstract:		 AMONG the parochial archives of Ullesthorpe are preserved the accounts of the Overseers of the Poor from the middle of the eighteenth century. They throw an interesting light upon village life of the period. In Ullesthorpe there were two Overseers, who were elected annually in April. It is with the accounts of these officials that this paper deals.
