Abstract: |
After an introduction to aerial archaeology, cropmarks and their interpretation, the rest of the book is given over to displaying a wide range of sites using both photographs and plots, from Neolithic enclosures through the likes of inter-tidal archaeology, Iron Age settlements, Red Hills, Medieval moated sites, duck decoy ponds and airfields to a 1996 crop circle. A useful companion to 97/282. |
