Abstract: |
The layman needs only clear thinking and hard work to present an effective case for preservation of a historic building. Lord Sandford indicates the Department of the Environment's need for information about the building and its possible future use. The two main speakers then describe the kinds of inquiry usually held, the preparation of the case including analysis of issues, selection of witnesses and their evidence, and procedure at the inquiry including hints on cross-examination (see also 72/1539). |
