Abstract: |
'Over 200 separate archaeological sites have been recorded during the first century of archaeological work in Lincoln, ranging from chance observations of pipe trenches and building sites to the vast excavations of Flaxengate and St Paul-in-the-Bail.' An outline of results derived from excavation is followed by a short summary for each of the 200 sites, with location plan and any publication details. Coverage is from pre-Roman to post-med. The index is to site-names only. |
