Abstract:
Chiefly known for his 'ley line' theory, Watkins did much useful work in the photographic and other recording of historic buildings (also inventing the first exposure meter) and had many other interests. He lived from 1855 to 1935 and this book, not a formal biography, follows the 50th anniversary of his death. (See also 91/50.)
