Abstract: |
Salvage recording during the excavation of foundation trenches was undertaken in an area of archaeological interest. Roman activity was attested in the immediate vicinity of Aberhall Farm by the presence of pottery and bloomery slag. Further evidence of the smelting of iron was recovered. [AIP] |
