Abstract: |
The assessment established that the defined potential development area may be one of moderate to high archaeological survival. The site was ideally located to exploit the resources of two landscapes; the low-lying coastal areas and the chalk uplands of the South Downs. Such locations have been shown to have been exploited during the later prehistoric and Roman periods.[Au(abr) |
