Abstract: |
The assessment identified that the proposed development site had some potential for buried archaeological remains. To the south of building 1 there had been little more than minor landscaping to accommodate the present structures. In addition valley floor deposits typically include colluvium, which may have sealed archaeological features. This alluvium may have helped to provide palaeo-environmental evidence. The northern part of the site had had extensive terracing and it was unlikely that there would have been any remaining archaeological deposits or features. [Au(abr)] |
