Abstract: |
The watching brief was undertaken on the site of a new dwelling. The watching brief found no evidence for archaeological remains on the site. The only intrusions into the soil were one terracotta field drain and the former driveway to East Ravendale Hall. The area under investigation consisted of mixed fine topsoil directly overlying the natural sands. The proposed work had no impact on the archaeological resource. [Au(abr)] |
