Abstract: |
During an evaluation at the proposed site of a residential development, a pit containing possible late medieval roof tile and 17th-18th century pottery was recorded. A sherd of Late Bronze Age pottery and a sherd of Roman pottery were recovered, and a small number of burnt and worked flints were found. The majority of these artefacts were recovered from topsoil and colluvial deposits, indicating that they may have originated from activity on higher ground to the south-east of the site. [Au(adp)] |
