Abstract: |
Eleven trenches were excavated. Numerous linear ditches and post holes, possibly associated with timber structures, were located, although most were undated. However, those to the north of the site were dated to the early middle Saxon period while others across the entire site were dated to the Saxo-Norman to early medieval period. To the south of the site, excavated features were from the 15th century onward. [Au(abr)] |
