Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken on land at Meadow Lane, which lay close to the medieval core of the village. Despite this, only two features of nineteenth or twentieth century date were found in the four machine excavated trenches. However, sherds of Roman and medieval ceramics were recovered from the underlying alluvial deposits. [Au] |
