Abstract: |
The gradiometer results of the survey have corroborated the findings of a previous desk-based assessment, that the site was at one time divided into several rectangular fields. Ridge and furrow cultivation was suspected. A regular arrangement of ceramic land drains was also mapped beneath the central third of the study area. A possible Roman enclosure and soil-filled ditch of possible archaeological significance were also located. [Au(abr)] |
