Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief undertaken during groundworks associated with the construction of the Rotary Bandstand revealed a single ditch running parallel to the suspected route of a Roman road. Pottery recovered from the filling of the ditch suggested it dated from the early-mid 3rd century AD. [Au(abr)] |
