Abstract: |
Desk-based study to assess the archaeological implications of four possible sites proposed for a new Visitor Centre for Stonehenge was undertaken. The study identified nine monuments in the site at the south end of Fargo Plantation,one monument at the two proposed sites at Amesbury, 15 monuments at the New King Barrows Ridge site, and six monument at the site to the east end of the Cursus.
