Abstract: |
During the course of the watching brief a single sherd of 13th to 14th-century pottery was recovered from a subsoil deposit, which in places was found to rest above a possible clay floor level. In addition evidence of post-medieval iron working activity near the site was located. No structural archaeological features were observed.[Au] |
