Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was carried out on two sites, of proposed development in the area. Pits and ditches of Saxo-Norman date were identified and were interpreted as paddocks. The site went out of use til the 16th century and pits and ditches were identified from this period to the 18th century. A large assemblage of post-medieval finds were recovered. [Au(abr)] |
