Abstract: |
<summary>Excavation was undertaken at the Scheduled Romano-British villa site prior to housing development. Two trenches were dug to re-excavate the western range of the villa, deposits being removed to the base of the planned construction disturbance. Evidence of a prehistoric and three Romano-British phases was identified. A World War II air-raid shelter was also on the site. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
