Abstract: |
Several brick walls and concrete foundations were cut through made ground. The orientation and alignment of the structures suggested that they were contemporary with, or additions to, the 19th century Shot and Shell Factory (building 24) which previously stood on the site. Several ancillary iron, brick and concrete structures were revealed which were probably contemporary with Building 24. The entire site had been truncated as part of a modern remediation process and capped by modern made ground. [Au(abr)] |
