Abstract: |
Archaeological monitoring was undertaken on the excavation of a series of eleven test-holes on the proposed locations for piles associated with a residential redevelopment. With the exception of test holes 3 and 7, which were excavated through rubble and test holes 10 and 11, where bonded structures were encountered, the sub-surface overburden comprised entirely of dark grey sandy loam.
