Abstract:		 <summary>An evaluation was carried out in the area of a proposed landfill site. Two known crop mark enclosures were identified on the ground and their eastern edges were used to form the western limit of the landfill site. The other aspects of the evaluation included examining the colluvium deposits in the bottom of the valleys, which may contain more archaeological evidence than the enclosures due to erosion by weathering and ploughing, and sampling for radiocarbon dating and palaeoenvironmental analysis. No artefacts were recovered from the trenches, but environmental samples were taken from Trench 1. {italon}AIP{italoff}
