Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during excavations associated with a new school building. The groundwork revealed the presence of Victorian landscaping and levelling at the site as a well as a rendered brick structure and a dump of butchery waste. The quantity of finds retrieved from the site was mainly derived from the 18th and 19th centuries and included a French coin of Napleon III. [Au(abr)] |
