Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at the proposed site of a housing development, which was crossed by the probable line of a medieval flood defence. Peat deposits were known to exist at the site; prehistoric timber structures had been recorded nearby in similar deposits. During the evaluation, no features of archaeological significance were observed. It was concluded that no further work would be necessary. [AIP] |
