Abstract: |
The watching brief recorded a limestone quarry-pit that may have been associated with lime-kilns which were operating in this area during the post-medieval period. No features predating the post-medieval/early modern period were encountered and any such remains, if once present, appeared to have been entirely removed by quarrying activity.[Au(abr)] |
