Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was maintained during excavation of footings for an extension to a dwelling. An 'E-shaped' trench was opened through made ground without disturbing subsoil; no archaeological features were encountered and, with the single notable exception of a sherd of Middle Saxon pottery, all finds were post-medieval or modern.
