Abstract: |
The report is a cultural heritage assessment carried out ahead of a flood alleviation scheme. The assessment primarily analysed the local sites and monuments record and identified that the proposed scheme would affect archaeological remains ranging from prehistoric settlement/burial sites through to the remains of a Roman town and subsequent medieval and post-medieval settlement and defence sites.
