Abstract: |
An archaeological excavation was undertaken at the site. The earliest feature was a mid 9th/11th century clay and chalk floor. A flint and brick property boundary wall was identified. The wall had been rebuilt over several phases since the medieval period. Structures spanning the 13th-20th century were identified. One of which was large cellared building, demolished in the 16th century. [Au(adp)] |
