Abstract: |
33 targeted evaluation trenches established the presence of medieval drainage ditches that may have served as field boundaries to Hale village. Areas that appeared to be pits-type features in an earlier geophysical survey proved to be natural deposits of sand amongst the gravel and clay.[AIP] |
