Abstract: |
Archaeological monitoring and recording was required as part of a scheme for the restoration of part of the northern boundary wall of the churchyard at All Saints Church, Nunney in 2006. A photographic record of the north face of the wall was made, prior to its demolition and rebuilding. Excavations for foundation works to support the new wall were monitored and recorded, providing opportunities to examine the original foundations of the wall and adjacent deposits. No structures or deposits earlier than of post-medieval date could be positively identified. [Au] |
